Mark DeRosa and Michael Hill to Lead Team USA in 2026 World Baseball Classic

USA Baseball announces key leadership appointments as preparations begin for the international tournament in Houston next March.

Mark DeRosa will return as manager of Team USA for the 2026 World Baseball Classic, following his successful leadership to a silver medal in 2023.
Michael Hill, a veteran MLB executive, has been named General Manager, bringing decades of operational experience to the team.
Team USA will compete in Pool B alongside Brazil, Great Britain, Italy, and Mexico, with games scheduled at Houston’s Daikin Park from March 6-11, 2026.
USA Baseball executive director Paul Seiler expressed confidence in the new leadership team’s ability to build a championship-caliber roster.
Team USA aims to build on its strong history in the tournament, having won gold in 2017 and silver in 2023.
