Marion Maréchal to Attend Donald Trump's Inauguration as European Conservative Leader

The French politician will join global right-wing leaders in Washington to strengthen ties between European and U.S. conservatives.

Marion Maréchal, vice-president of the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) group, has been officially invited to Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20, 2025.
She will be joined by other prominent right-wing leaders, including Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and Argentine President Javier Milei.
The invitation highlights an effort to bolster cooperation between European conservative movements and the U.S. Republican Party under Trump’s leadership.
Former allies of Maréchal, Éric Zemmour and Sarah Knafo of the Reconquête party, are also expected to attend the event in Washington.
Notable absences include French President Emmanuel Macron and Marine Le Pen, who reportedly have not received invitations.
