Mariners Trade Closer Paul Sewald to Diamondbacks for Josh Rojas, Two Prospects

The Arizona Diamondbacks acquired All-Star closer Paul Sewald from the Seattle Mariners in exchange for outfielder Josh Rojas and two prospects.
Sewald has been one of the top relievers in baseball this season, posting a 2.93 ERA with 21 saves for the Mariners.
The Diamondbacks are looking to bolster their bullpen, which currently ranks 25th in MLB with a 4.49 ERA.
In return, the Mariners receive the 28-year-old Rojas, who has struggled at the plate this season but provides versatility.
Seattle also added two prospects in the deal - outfielder Dominic Canzone and shortstop Ryan Bliss.
