  • The Mariners released outfielder/DH Rob Refsnyder and catcher Mitch Garver, a move confirmed Tuesday after Seattle acquired Taylor Ward from Baltimore and traded Luis Castillo to Chicago.
  • Refsnyder hit .140/.211/.254 with four home runs and a .495 OPS in 129 plate appearances as he battled nagging knee issues and finished with a 32 wRC+.
