Marine Dies in Humvee Rollover During Training at Twentynine Palms

The Marine was pronounced dead after being transported to medical facilities; investigation ongoing.

The incident occurred during Service Level Training Exercise 5-24 at the Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center.
The Marine, whose identity has not been released, was first treated at Robert E. Bush Naval Hospital.
No other Marines were injured in the rollover incident.
This marks the third on-duty vehicle-related Marine death in Fiscal Year 2024.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the rollover.
