• The city of Hanau appointed Marjan as Märchenbotschafterin auf Lebenszeit to mark her 85th birthday in recognition of her advocacy for Brothers Grimm tales.
• Since 2018, she has served as fairy-tale ambassador, regularly reading Brothers Grimm stories at the Hanau Christmas market opening and the Brüder Grimm Festspiele.
• After a June 2024 femoral neck fracture and multiple surgeries, she now uses a rollator or walking stick but describes herself as "fit and merry."
• From 1985 to 2020, she gained national prominence through her 34-year portrayal of Helga Beimer on ARD’s Lindenstraße.
• In her tradition of marking milestone birthdays, Marjan plans to host 85 guests for her birthday celebration.
