Marianne (71) and Michael (75) Hartl, known as the 'dream couple of Volksmusik,' have officially retired from performing after their farewell tour this year.
Their final concert took place at the Oktoberfest-Platzkonzert in Munich, the same city where they began their career in 1973.
The couple has expressed no desire to return to the stage, despite receiving ongoing requests for performances.
At home, Michael sings traditional songs from his native Styria, reflecting their personal musical tastes.
The duo revealed that during their career, they adapted their repertoire for broader appeal, performing different songs than those they personally preferred.
