- Lead singles “Type Dangerous” and “Sugar Sweet” guided the rollout, with “Type Dangerous” winning best R&B at the VMAs, becoming her 50th Hot 100 hit and reaching No. 1 on Adult R&B Airplay.
- Carey says she intentionally closed the album with the title track and brought her faith forward on “Jesus I Do” with The Clark Sisters.
