• The 11-track album arrived Sept. 26 via MARIAH/gamma and features collaborations with Anderson .Paak, The Clark Sisters, Kehlani and Shenseea.
• Lead singles “Type Dangerous” and “Sugar Sweet” guided the rollout, with “Type Dangerous” winning best R&B at the VMAs, becoming her 50th Hot 100 hit and reaching No. 1 on Adult R&B Airplay.
• Carey says she intentionally closed the album with the title track and brought her faith forward on “Jesus I Do” with The Clark Sisters.
• New material includes “Play This Song” with Anderson .Paak and a cover of Paul McCartney and Wings’ “My Love.”
• She marked release day with a “Play This Song” video drop and has a Las Vegas residency scheduled at Dolby Live starting in November, as announced.
