Mariah Carey Announces 20th Anniversary Edition of 'The Emancipation of Mimi'

The special edition, set for release on May 30, 2025, features unreleased tracks, new remixes, and a 5LP box set celebrating the album’s legacy.

The 20th Anniversary Edition of 'The Emancipation of Mimi' will be released on May 30, 2025, via Def Jam Records/UMe.
The reissue includes a 45-track 5LP box set featuring the original album, Ultra Platinum Edition tracks, and bonus content such as live recordings, instrumentals, and a cappella versions.
New additions include Kaytranada’s remix of 'Don’t Forget About Us,' Esentrik’s remix of 'It’s Like That,' and the previously unreleased track 'When I Feel It.'
A deluxe 2LP vinyl set and an extended digital deluxe edition with exclusive streaming tracks will also be available.
The release celebrates the album’s pivotal role in Mariah Carey’s career and includes a 28-page booklet with photos and a personal letter to fans.
