• German filmmaker Maren Ade, known for her Oscar-nominated film 'Toni Erdmann,' will preside over the Short Films and La Cinef juries at Cannes 2025.
• The jury includes Reinaldo Marcus Green, Camélia Jordana, José María Prado, and Nebojša Slijepčević, representing a diverse array of international voices.
• Eleven short films, selected from 4,781 global submissions, will vie for the Short Film Palme d’Or, with nearly half directed by women.
• La Cinef features 16 student films from 2,700 submissions, marking festival debuts for institutions from Portugal, Denmark, and Estonia.
