• Marquez smashed the Balaton Park lap record twice to take pole with a 1:36.518, his eighth of the season.
• He then controlled the Sprint to win ahead of Fabio Di Giannantonio and Franco Morbidelli, with Luca Marini fourth, Fermin Aldeguer fifth and Joan Mir sixth.
• A Turn 1 collision initiated by Fabio Quartararo’s contact with Enea Bastianini created early chaos, and a later incident ended Bastianini and Johann Zarco’s races; both are under investigation.
• Francesco Bagnaia failed to reach Q2 for the first time this year, qualifying 15th and finishing only 13th in the Sprint.
• Pedro Acosta crashed early in Q2 and qualified seventh, then fell in the Sprint and finished 17th, while Moto3 rookie Maximo Quiles secured pole at Balaton Park.
