• Jharkhand Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi alleges that Chief Minister Hemant Soren and senior bureaucrats hatched a plan to intimidate him and implicate him in fabricated legal cases for exposing state corruption.
• He says corrupt officers close to the chief minister contracted criminals with a ‘supari’ to threaten him and referenced a 2013 Maoist-linked plot at Shikaripara that led to CRPF protection.
