Mar Del Plata Raids Seize Over ARS127 Million in Drugs, Detain Four

Operation caps a two-month intelligence crackdown that began with simultaneous raids in Rosario, Granadero Baigorria

  • Federal Oficina de Narcocriminalidad and Prefectura Naval Argentina conducted five simultaneous searches in Mar del Plata’s outskirts, leading to the arrest of three men and one woman.
  • Authorities seized 106.7 grams of cocaine, 339.7 grams of marijuana, 534 cannabis plants and 40 seeds along with firearms, vehicles, cash and cell phones.

  • Earlier operations in Rosario and Granadero Baigorria led by the Unidad Fiscal de Microtráfico and the Policía de Investigaciones netted 12 arrests, 37 phones, a pistolón, 16 cartridges and a motorcycle.
