Overview

• Armed Maoists allegedly set fire to a private telecom tower in Bahda village under the Chotanagra police station area late Monday night, destroying batteries and control panels and knocking out service.
• The strike follows a similar arson attack on a tower in the Jaraikela area on the night of October 11–12, marking two such incidents in West Singhbhum within days.
• Police said the attackers warned residents to stay indoors and left posters referencing a retaliation campaign labeled Vengeance or Revenge Week from October 8–14.
