Manipur Security Forces Arrest Militants, Recover Arms and Heroin in Intensified Crackdown

  • Security forces arrested two militants from the banned PREPAK-Pro group, Saikhom Sandip Singha (32) and Irengbam Robinson Singh (25), in separate operations in Jiribam and Bishnupur districts.
  • Robinson Singh was found in possession of 365 empty ammunition cases of various calibers, along with a mobile phone and SIM card.
  • A broader operation led to the apprehension of five other individuals, including militants from the UNLF, a drug smuggler, and suspected looters.
