Overview
- Security personnel detained 25 militants over July 12–13 in Imphal West, Imphal East, Kakching, Bishnupur and Thoubal districts targeting cadres from PREPAK, SOREPA, KCP factions, KYKL, APUNBA and the PLA.
- Authorities recovered a 9mm pistol, magazine, six rounds of ammunition, mobile phones with SIM cards and seized additional arms in multiple operations.
- One arrested PREPAK member, 42-year-old Chingakham Sanjoy Singh Eremba, had completed 45 days of basic military training in Myanmar before returning to Manipur.
