Overview

• Governor Bhalla chaired a high-level review on July 14 to assess relief and rehabilitation efforts and directed departments to ensure no displaced person is left behind.
• The newly launched IDP portal provides real-time data management and transparent tracking of aid distribution across over 300 relief camps hosting about 57,000 displaced people.
• The administration has begun the first of a three-phase resettlement plan this month with a December 2025 completion target.
• Prefabricated housing units are prepared for up to 10,000 families unable to return to their original villages, with additional units under construction.
