- Police said Paokholen Guite, the self-styled chief of the Chin Kuki Mizo Army, was arrested in S Munuam, Churachandpur, with two AK-47 rifles, ammunition, cash and a vehicle.
- Assam Rifles, in Operation Songkot on October 1, apprehended UKNA senior commander SS Lt Jamkhogin Guite Lupho alias Pepsi during a jungle sweep in Churachandpur.
- Officials reported that Jamkhogin Guite was handed to the NIA for suspected involvement in the January 18, 2024 Bishnupur killings following court orders.
- From UKNA cadres, security forces seized an M79 grenade launcher with bombs, pistols, radio sets and about three kilograms of opium seeds, with a 14-year-old among those detained.
