Overview

• Police arrested Khomdram Ojit Singh, alias Keilal, an alleged PLA cadre accused of directly participating in the September 19 attack on a 33 Assam Rifles convoy at Nambol Sabal Leikai.
• Based on his inputs, security teams recovered rifles, including INSAS, along with magazines believed to have been used in the ambush.
• Two Assam Rifles personnel were killed and five injured in the convoy attack, which authorities say is driving intensified operations.
