Manhunt Underway for Suspect in East Harlem Child Rape Case

The NYPD is seeking public assistance in identifying the suspect who met the victim, a 10-year-old girl, online before the assault.

The suspect met the 10-year-old victim online through an unspecified application before the attack.
The assault took place around 9 p.m. on January 6 at Third Avenue and East 122nd Street in East Harlem.
The suspect fled the scene on foot and remains at large.
The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition for evaluation.
The NYPD has released photos of the suspect, who was wearing a dark-colored Nautica hoodie, gray sweatpants and a black cap.
