Overview

  • A suspect stole a 2018 Pierce Enforcer pumper from Hoyt Avenue just after 11 p.m. Friday while its crew was on a medical call.
  • The driver steered the 35,000-pound engine through north Everett, damaging at least 16 parked vehicles, street signs and landscaping before abandoning it on foot.
  • No injuries were reported at any of the crash sites and the damaged fire engine has been taken out of service for forensic examination.
