Overview

• Law enforcement received a 911 call just before 1 a.m. Thursday reporting shots fired at the Sheridan residence.
• Deputies arrived about 25 minutes later to find the home ablaze and discovered two bodies inside after extinguishing the fire.
• Investigators have not released the victims’ identities and have yet to determine whether they died from gunshot wounds or the blaze.
• Officials describe the suspect as an unidentified armed man who fled the scene in a vehicle and remains at large.
