Overview

• NSW Police declared the July 10 fire at Play to Learn Early Learning Centre in Turramurra a suspicious arson and started a manhunt for those responsible
• Fire and Rescue NSW crews arrived shortly after alarms triggered the sprinkler system and extinguished the blaze by 4.25 am
• Investigators discovered signs of forced entry and accelerant use and are reviewing CCTV footage from throughout the facility
• Play to Learn’s Turramurra centre will remain closed as management focuses on supporting families booked for care
• No injuries were reported and damage was limited to smoke and water from the sprinkler system
