Manhunt Intensifies for Suspect in Devil’s Den State Park Homicide

Arkansas State Police have closed all trails in Devil’s Den State Park to secure evidence during the ongoing manhunt.

  • Clinton David Brink, 43, and his wife, Cristen Amanda Brink, 41, were fatally attacked on July 26 while hiking with their daughters aged 7 and 9, who escaped unharmed
  • Arkansas State Police are pursuing a white male suspect of medium build last seen wearing a long-sleeved shirt with rolled-up sleeves, dark pants, sunglasses, fingerless gloves and carrying a black backpack
  • All walking trails have been closed and the crime scene cordoned off in the park’s rugged, remote terrain where cellphone service is nonexistent
  • Authorities are urging anyone who visited the park on July 26 or lives nearby to submit any cellphone, GoPro or security camera footage directly to police
  • The Arkansas State Crime Lab is examining the victims’ remains to determine the official cause and manner of death
