Manhunt Continues for Suspect in Devil’s Den State Park Double Homicide

Overview

  • Clinton David Brink, 43, and Cristen Amanda Brink, 41, were found dead on a trail while hiking with their two daughters, ages seven and nine, who were uninjured and are now safe with relatives.
  • Arkansas State Police have mobilized all available resources in a statewide search after the suspect was seen leaving the park in a black sedan, possibly a Mazda, with its license plate covered by tape.
  • Investigators describe the suspect as a medium-built white male wearing dark clothing, a dark cap, weight-lifting or fingerless gloves and carrying a black backpack.
  • All walking trails at Devil’s Den State Park remain secured by law enforcement as investigators continue to process the crime scene.
  • Federal and state agencies, including the FBI and Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism, are urging anyone with cell phone, action-camera or security footage from the park or nearby areas on July 26 to come forward.
