- Two officers from the Gibson City Police Department and Ford County Sheriff’s Department were shot early on August 9 while responding to a report of a naked man on the 100 block of Ash Street.
- Both officers were treated for non-life-threatening injuries at local hospitals and are expected to recover.
- Jordan’s residence caught fire shortly after the shooting and firefighters later declared the house at 146 W. Ash St. a total loss with an estimated $175,000 in damages and $50,000 to an adjacent home.
- Police say Jordan remains at large and should be considered armed and dangerous after fleeing the scene unclothed and may be riding a red bicycle.
