Overview

• The Sports Ministry and SAI disbursed over Rs 1.09 crore in cash prizes, with policy payouts of Rs 10 lakh for gold, Rs 7 lakh for silver, and Rs 4 lakh for bronze, and only the highest medal counting for multi-medal winners.
• India logged its best World Para Athletics finish, placing 10th with 22 medals, including six gold, nine silver and seven bronze.
