Manchester Woman Indicted in Federal Animal-Crush Video Case

Prosecutors allege she helped run private groups that exchanged graphic videos of monkey abuse.

Overview

  • Lynn Seymour, 51, was indicted on one count of distributing animal-crush videos and one count of conspiracy tied to activity between November 2024 and April 2025.
  • She was arrested, appeared in federal court in Concord on Sept. 5, and was released pending further proceedings.
  • Charging documents say she administered private online and encrypted groups with hundreds of members that traded videos depicting the torture, killing, and sexual abuse of baby and adult monkeys.
  • The indictment cites a February video described as showing one restrained monkey forced to watch another being tortured, including genital crushing.
  • The FBI and USDA-OIG led the investigation as part of a wider DOJ effort that has produced at least 13 other indictments in nine states, and the case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Charles L. Rombeau; the indictment does not allege she produced the videos.
