Manchester Double Stabbing Leaves Two Dead, Suspect Arrested

A 23-year-old man has been detained under the Mental Health Act following the fatal stabbing of two men in Moss Side.

Police were called to Great Southern Street in Moss Side, Manchester, at around 5am on Sunday following reports of a stabbing.
Two men were found at the scene with fatal injuries and were pronounced dead despite emergency services' efforts.
A 23-year-old suspect, believed to be known to one of the victims, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
Greater Manchester Police have stated that the incident is isolated, with no threat to the wider public, and are not seeking any other suspects.
