Manchester City has been fined £120,000 ($152,000) by the Football Association for their players' conduct during a Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur.
The players, including Erling Haaland, Mateo Kovacic and Ruben Dias, surrounded referee Simon Hooper after he failed to play advantage following a foul on Haaland.
The incident occurred in the closing minutes of the 3-3 draw, when Jack Grealish was through on goal.
City admitted they “failed to ensure their players did not behave in an improper way” during the hearing and were fined as a result.
Despite the controversy, City's manager Pep Guardiola refused to criticise the referee's decision.
