Man with History of Mental Illness Charged After Firing Shot Into Memphis TV Station, Livestreaming Standoff

A man fired a shot into the lobby of a Memphis television station.
The suspect, Jarrad Nathan, has faced mental health challenges for much of his life.
Nathan fired through the Fox 13 station’s security doors with a rifle but was unable to get inside and no one was injured.
Nathan then ran and barricaded himself in a nearby restaurant, where he livestreamed his standoff with police and claimed to have information about crooked police officers.
Nathan was eventually arrested without incident about two hours later and is reportedly facing aggravated assault and reckless endangerment charges.
