Man with AK-47 Arrested Near Republican National Convention Venue

Donnell Tinsley, 21, was found with a concealed weapon, ammunition, and other suspicious items close to the Milwaukee event site.

Tinsley was spotted wearing a ski mask and carrying a heavy backpack near the convention's security perimeter.
He denied having firearms but agents discovered a concealed AK-47 pistol during a search.
The backpack contained rifle ammunition, a 'Scream' mask, and other items including a security uniform shirt.
Tinsley, who lacked a concealed carry permit, faces up to nine months in prison and a $10,000 fine.
Security has been heightened following a recent assassination attempt on Donald Trump and other unrelated incidents near the convention.
