• The 33-year-old from Watford was reported to have fallen at about 9:20am on 19 September near Newpound Common, Wisborough Green.
• His body was found in a nearby field after more than four hours of searching with drones, officers and dogs, according to police.
• He was among 16 passengers on a Virgin Balloon Flights trip from Billingshurst to Dunsfold and had purchased the flight experience.
• Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious as inquiries continue for the coroner and the family has been informed.
• The Commercial Ballooning Association said the incident was recorded on the flight video submitted to police, and its chair said it appeared the passenger climbed out of the basket.
