Man Tries to Blame Dog for Drunk Driving to Avoid Arrest

A Colorado man attempted to switch places with his dog after being pulled over for speeding and showing signs of intoxication.
The man had active warrants out for his arrest and was charged with multiple offenses including driving under the influence and resisting arrest.
The drunk man's dog was given to someone else to take care of while the man was in jail.
Two sober passengers were also in the backseat of the car.
The man was caught 20 yards from his vehicle after running from police.
