Overview
- The operation began around 10:30 a.m. Saturday at a home on the 1800 block of Market Street in Harrisburg.
- Police closed parts of 18th, 19th and Zarker streets during the response, and Market Street began reopening around 1 p.m.
- An EMS crew escorted a man with a bandaged left hand from the house around 12:40 p.m., and he was loaded onto a gurney and taken by ambulance.
- A police source told PennLive the person had been barricaded inside the home.
- Multiple agencies assisted, including Harrisburg, Steelton, Swatara, Susquehanna and Pennsylvania Capitol Police, with a K-9 and a drone seen on scene, and authorities had not disclosed a reason as of 2:30 p.m.
