Man Suspected in Mother's Day Triple Homicide Killed in Arizona Shootout

Ivory James Welch III was identified as the suspect in the deaths of his mother and two sisters in Ridgeland, Mississippi.
The victims, found on Mother's Day, were Ida Thomas Welch, 76; Vicky Renee Welch, 56; and Crystal Lynn Welch, 42.
Welch fled to Arizona, where he was located by state troopers on U.S. Route 191 near the New Mexico border.
A gunfight ensued when troopers attempted to apprehend Welch, resulting in his death.
