Overview

• Emergency services were called around 1pm on Monday to reports of a stabbing outside the Starbucks on Streatham Hill in south London.
• London Ambulance Service sent crews, an incident response officer and London’s Air Ambulance; a man in his 20s was treated at the scene and taken to a major trauma centre.
• The Metropolitan Police said the victim’s injuries were assessed as non-life-changing and non-life-threatening.
• No arrests had been made at the time of reporting, and anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting crime reference 3274/06OCT.
• Eyewitness images showed blood on the pavement and responders working on the victim as officers diverted pedestrians and maintained a cordon.
