Police say the stabbing occurred around 6 a.m. on a train in the 500 block of North Milwaukee Avenue near the Fulton River District.
During a verbal dispute, another passenger produced a knife and slashed the 32-year-old man’s left hand.
The victim was transported to Humboldt Health Hospital, where he was listed in good condition.
