Man Shot Outside Chicago O'Hare Airport Following Altercation

A 25-year-old man is in stable condition after being shot twice during a fight near Terminal 2 early Wednesday morning.

The shooting occurred around 1 a.m. on the street outside Terminal 2 at Chicago O'Hare International Airport.
Police reported that the incident began as an argument among multiple individuals, which escalated into gunfire.
The victim, a 25-year-old man, sustained two gunshot wounds to the lower body and is being treated at Lutheran General Hospital in stable condition.
Authorities recovered several rifle rounds at the scene and are interviewing a second individual linked to the incident as part of their ongoing investigation.
Operations at the airport have returned to normal, with all lower-level arrival lanes fully reopened by 5:15 a.m.
