Man Sentenced to 30 Years for Brutal Murder in Var

The crime involved decapitation and mutilation, with Marzouk presenting the victim's severed head and genitals to police the following day.
The court imposed a two-thirds minimum term of his sentence and mandated 20 years of post-release socio-judicial monitoring.
Failure to comply with the monitoring requirements could result in an additional seven years of imprisonment.
Marzouk, previously convicted 21 times for various offenses, committed the murder while intoxicated by alcohol and crack cocaine.
