Man Pleads Guilty to Assaulting Rep. Angie Craig

Kendrid Hamlin pleaded guilty to assaulting Democratic Representative Angie Craig in February.
Hamlin also pleaded guilty to assaulting law enforcement officers on the same day of the assault on Craig.
Hamlin's attorneys said he accepted responsibility for his actions and hopes to receive mental health treatment and stable housing upon release.
Craig was punched in the face and grabbed near her neck in the elevator of her Washington apartment building.
Hamlin had numerous previous convictions, including for assaulting a police officer.
