Overview
- The rider was seen on the rear coach of AC local No. K/25 between Diva and Kopar and was electrocuted when the train halted at Diva around 10:12 am.
- Witnesses said his clothes caught fire after he touched live overhead equipment while attempting to climb down.
- RPF Sub-Inspector J. K. Verma, ASI Shivkumar Meena, pointsman Sharad, GRP personnel and porters brought him down and moved him to an ambulance.
- He was taken to Shivaji Hospital in Kalwa for emergency treatment, with his condition reported as critical.
