Man kills 3, injures 9 in 'crime spree' of stabbings, carjackings across San Jose

A 31-year-old man was arrested following random attacks across San Jose that left three dead and nine injured.
The suspect, Kevin Parkourana, is in custody and faces multiple charges including homicide and carjacking.
The attacks occurred within an hour and a half on Thursday afternoon with no known connection between the suspect and victims.
Parkourana was on active probation at the time of the attacks and has a history of convictions and dismissals on charges including family violence since 2018.
The city of San Jose is in mourning as police continue to investigate the violent crime spree.
