Overview

• Officers responded to the 600 block of Monroe Street around 12:10 a.m. on Sept. 24 and found an adult male who died at the scene despite life-saving efforts.
• Police say preliminary findings indicate the fatal shooting occurred from a passing vehicle.
• The shooter remains at large and no arrests have been made.
• The suspect vehicle is described as a small, dark-colored SUV.
• A stretch of Monroe Street between Broadway and Water streets was closed for several hours during the investigation and has since reopened; anyone with information is asked to call 920-467-7902.
