The court heard that Bennett became immersed in right-wing online propaganda during the pandemic, which influenced his hateful rhetoric.
Restraining orders were issued for five years to protect the victims, and Bennett was sentenced to 28 weeks in prison by Exeter Magistrates’ Court.
