• After a jury convicted him on April 8 at Hull Crown Court, a Doncaster Crown Court judge sentenced Tomasz Figura to 11 years’ imprisonment on June 22.

• Figura missed two sentencing hearings in May after admitting he was too intoxicated to attend and was subsequently remanded in custody.
