Man in Police Custody Dies After Breaking Hospital Window and Falling

A man in police custody for allegedly violating a court order was taken to the hospital for a pre-existing medical condition.
The man assaulted an officer and threatened to hit staff with an oxygen tank, causing them to flee the room.
The man then used the oxygen tank to break a window and climbed onto a ledge outside.
He fell 20 feet from the ledge and sustained life-threatening injuries.
He later died at another hospital, and the incident is under investigation.
