Man Hospitalized After Serious Dog Attack in Aberavon

The 24-year-old victim, attacked by a pit bull-type dog, received critical care support and was airlifted to the hospital.

The incident occurred at Blair Way, Aberavon, early Monday morning.
The dog, a pit bull or Staffordshire bull terrier cross, was sedated and removed by police.
Neighbours reported seeing armed police and bloodstains at the scene.
The dog was rescued from a drug house seven months prior to the attack.
An investigation by South Wales Police is ongoing.
