Man Halts S-Bahn by Standing on Tracks After Forgetting Backpack

A 29-year-old man triggered a police operation by stopping a train to retrieve his left-behind belongings.

The incident occurred in Maisach, Bavaria, when the man stood on the tracks to stop the train traveling at 85 km/h.
The S-Bahn came to a stop just two meters from the man, prompting a dangerous emergency braking.
After being allowed on the train to retrieve his backpack, the man used an emergency release to flee the scene.
