Man Found Guilty in 2021 Road Rage Shooting of 6-Year-Old

Marcus Anthony Eriz, 26, has been found guilty of second-degree murder and shooting at an occupied vehicle in the 2021 road rage shooting of 6-year-old Aiden Leos on a California freeway.
The incident occurred when Eriz's girlfriend, Wynne Lee, cut off Aiden's mother, Joanna Cloonan, on the freeway. In response to Cloonan's rude gesture, Eriz fired a shot at her car, fatally wounding Aiden.
Eriz faces up to 40 years to life in prison. His sentencing is scheduled for April 12.
Wynne Lee, who was driving the vehicle at the time of the shooting, is awaiting trial for being an accessory after the fact.
